Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the engine and transmission from the vehicle. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .
  3. Remove the transmission from the engine. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .

  4. Fit the 1860741000 (EMEA) flywheel stop tool (1).
  5. Remove the bolts (2a) and remove the flywheel (2b) with spacer.
  6. Remove the 1860741000 (EMEA) flywheel stop tool.

    NOTE:

    Be careful not to damage the oil seal seat during its removal.

  7. Remove the crankshaft oil seal (1), flywheel side.
