Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the valve spring(s). Refer to SPRING(S), VALVE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .

    NOTE:

    Intake and Exhaust valve springs are unique. Mark accordingly prior to removal.

  2. Remove and DISCARD  the valve guide seals (2).
    NOTE:

    Valve spring seats are integral to the stem seal and are common Intake and exhaust.
