- The valve stem oil seals (2) are made of elastomer molded-over steel with an integral spring seat with a garter spring (1) around the top of the valve stem seal.
- The valve stem seals are not reusable if removed from the valve guides (3).
- Always coat the valve seals with clean engine oil before installing the valves.
