- The cylinder head cover is made of die cast aluminum.
- The cylinder head cover is sealed with press-in-place gaskets at the cylinder head and spark plug ports. RTV is used to seal the T-joint at the cylinder head cover, front timing cover and cylinder head.
- RTV is also used to seal the cylinder head cover to the rear camshaft bearing cap at the vacuum pump.
- RTV is also used at the valve cover to MultiAir Gasket to Multiair joint (2 places).
- The oil fill tube is located at the front port (2). The rear port (1) is capped following the initial oil filling of the Multiair module.
