Removal And Installation: Removal

- Open the cover of the fuse box in the engine compartment and remove the fuse F21 (15 A) of the fuel pump.
- Start the engine and run until the fuel in the lines is depleted.
- Install the fuse removed earlier and close the fuse box cover.
- Remove the engine cover. Refer to
COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

- Remove the screw (1) securing the air hose from the filter to the throttle body.
- Disconnect the engine oil vapor tube quick coupling (2).
- Loosen the clamp and disconnect the hose from the air filter to the throttle body.
- Disconnect the electrical connection of the air temperature sensor (1).
- Loosen the clamp and remove the hose from the air filter to the throttle body (2).
- Open the retaining clip (1a) and disconnect the quick coupling (1b) of the pipe fuel vapor hose.
- Disconnect the quick connect and remove the fuel vapor tube (1).
- Separate the two edges of the precut sound absorbing panel as shown (1).
- Remove the acoustic insulation panel (2).
- Disconnect the quick connect and move to the side (1).
- Disconnect the electrical connection from the fuel vapor solenoid (2).
- Disconnect the fuel vapor discharge tube (3).
- Remove the fuel vapor solenoid (4).
- Disconnect the fuel injector wire harness connectors (1).
- Remove the retaining screws and remove the fuel rail, complete with injectors (2).
