Removal And Installation: Removal

- Open the fuse box casing lid in the engine compartment and remove fuse F21 (15 A) from the fuel pump.
- Start-up several times until all the pressure in the fuel distribution manifold has discharged.
- Reinstall the fuse removed previously and close the fuse box casing.
- Remove the engine cover. Refer to
COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
.
- Undo the screw (1) fixing the air pipe from cleaner to throttle body.
- Disconnect the quick coupling of the engine oil vapor pipe (2).
- Loosen the band and disconnect the air pipe (3) from cleaner to throttle body.
- Disconnect the air temperature sensor wire harness connector (1).
- Loosen the band and remove the air pipe (2) from cleaner to throttle body.
- Open the retaining clip (1a) and disconnect the front quick coupling (1b) of the fuel vapor pipe.
- Disconnect the rear quick coupling and remove the fuel vapor pipe.
- Separate the two pre-cut edges of the sound proofing panel (1) as shown in the figure.
- Remove the soundproofing panel (2).
- Disconnect the quick coupling and move the front fuel supply pipe (1) aside.
- Disconnect the fuel vapor solenoid valve wire harness connector (2).
- Disconnect (by pressing) the fuel vapor supply pipe from the air capacity chamber (3).
- Remove the fuel vapor solenoid valve (4).
- Disconnect the injectors wire harness connectors (1).
- Undo the fixing screws and remove the single fuel manifold (2) complete with injectors.
