Check tire condition and wear, adjust pressure and check the expiration date on the tire service kit (if any).
Check lighting system operation (headlights, turn signals, rechargeable flashlight, passenger compartment lighting, glove box light, instrument panel warning lights, etc.).
Check and restore fluid levels (engine coolant, brake system, hydraulic clutch, windshield washer, battery, etc.).
Check emissions / exhaust gas. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
Check engine control system operation and engine oil degradation using the scan tool.
Check the positioning and wear of front and rear windshield wipers.
Check windshield wiper washer and adjust nozzles.
Visually inspect the condition and pad wear of the front disc brakes and check operation.
Visually inspect the condition and pad wear of the rear disc brakes and check operation.
If the vehicle is used in dusty conditions, replace the engine air filter. Refer to AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, 1.3L or AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, 2.4L .
If the vehicle is used in dusty conditions, replace the cabin air filter. Refer to FILTER, CABIN AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
