Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Use the (special tool #2031400091, Installer, Crank Seal - Rear) (1) to install the rear crankshaft oil seal.

  2. Verify that the seal lip (1) on the oil seal is uniformly curled inward toward the engine on the crankshaft (2).
  3. Install the flexplate. Refer to FLEXPLATE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .
