Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the vibration damper. Refer to DAMPER, VIBRATION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .

  4. Using the (special tool #2066500090, Front Crankshaft Seal Remover) (1), remove the crankshaft front cover oil seal.
