Latch, Hood: Removal

Remove the front fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL .
Using a grease pencil or equivalent, mark the position of the hood latch (1) on the upper radiator crossmember.
Remove the two nuts (2) that secure the hood latch (1) to the upper radiator crossmember.

Disconnect the hood latch cable (2 and 3) from the hood latch (1).
