Standard Procedure - Reset Oil Change Indicator
After performing the needed maintenance, reset the Oil Change Required indicator using the following procedure:
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, but do not start the engine.
- Fully depress and release the accelerator pedal slowly, three times, within 10 seconds.
- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF/LOCK position.
NOTE:
If the Oil Change Required indicator message illuminates when you start the engine, the indicator did not reset. If necessary, repeat this procedure.
