The DEF Pump system performs a Pressure Reduction procedure after every driving cycle (In after-run mode). The PCM detects that a comparison of the DEF Pump pressure before and after the Pressure Reduction procedure indicates a difference that is less than a calibrated threshold for a calibrated amount of time. This is a two Trip Fault.
