The Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) sends a CAN Bus message to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) indicating that the airbags have been deployed.

Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Refer to  PRE-DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE  .
