Valve, Coolant Control: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Drain the coolant system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  3. Remove the cowl extension silencer. Refer to SILENCER, COWL EXTENSION, REMOVAL .

  4. Disconnect the coolant control valve wire harness connector (1).
  5. Remove the coolant lines (2) from the coolant control valve.

  6. Remove the coolant control valve bracket bolt (3) located near the right side ignition capacitor (1). Remove the coolant control valve and bracket assembly (2) from the vehicle.
