The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor is located on the left side of the engine block under the Intake Manifold. The ECT Sensor operates as a typical two wire sensor. It receives a 5-Volt signal on the ECT Sensor Signal circuit and sensor return on the Sensor Ground circuit. When this fault code is active the EGR system will be disabled.
