Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is illuminated as soon as the diagnostic fails.
Vehicle is placed into limp-home mode.
The TCM will limit the current to the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) solenoid to 50mA. The TCC will be open.
Special shifting modes (Sport Mode, Winter Mode, Manual Mode, etc.,) will be disabled.
Shift adaptation functions will be disabled.
Start/Stop feature, if equipped, will be disabled.
