Solenoid, Variable Valve Timing (VVTS), Exhaust: Removal

NOTE:

The Variable Valve Timing Solenoid (VVTS) (2) is located under the supercharger assembly.

Remove the supercharger. Refer to SUPERCHARGER, REMOVAL .
Disconnect VVTS electrical connector (1).
Remove VVTS retaining bolt (3).
NOTE:
To remove the VVTS, the engine must be at room temperature.
Rotate the VVTS to break the seal and remove.
