Control Valve, Oil Intake: Removal

- Remove the intake manifold. Refer to MANIFOLD, INTAKE, REMOVAL .NOTE:
To remove the VVTS, the engine must be at room temperature.
- Disconnect the VVTS electrical connector (1).
- Remove the VVTS fastener (2).
- Rotate the VVTS (3) to break the seal then pull the oil control valve straight out.
