Pick-Up, Oil Pump: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the upper oil pan. Refer to PAN, OIL, REMOVAL .

  3. Remove the bolts (1) and the oil pump pickup tube (2) from oil pump.

  4. Remove and discard the O-ring seal (2).
