Insulator, Engine Mount, Right: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.

  2. Remove the engine cover (1).
  3. Remove the generator. Refer to GENERATOR, REMOVAL .

  4. Remove the bolts (1) and the left engine mount heat shield (2).

  5. Remove the bolts (2) and the right engine mount heat shield (1).

  6. Remove the right and left engine mount retaining nut (1).
  7. Using Driveline Support Fixture (special tool #8534C, Fixture, Driveline Support), lift engine enough to gain access to the engine mount.

  8. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  9. Removed the belly pan.
  10. Remove the bolts (2) and the right engine mount (1).

  11. If necessary, remove the bolts (2) and the right engine mount bracket (1).
