Insulator, Engine Mount, Rear Mount: Installation

- On 4x2 models if removed, install the rear transmission mount bracket (2) with four bolts (1) and tightened to 33 N.m (24 ft. lbs.).
- On 4x2 models, install the rear transmission mount isolator (1) with the three bolts (2) and tightened to 61 N.m (45 ft. lbs.).
- On 4x4 models, install the rear engine transmission isolator (1) with the three bolts (2) and tightened to 61 N.m (45 ft. lbs.).NOTE:
Gas engine shown in the illustration, Diesel engine similar.
- Install the crossmember (1) with the six bolts (3) and tightened to 55 N.m (41 ft. lbs.).
- Lower the transmission so the weight is resting on the isolator.
- Install the two bolts (2) to the rear transmission mount isolator and tighten to 61 N.m (45 ft. lbs.).NOTE:
Gas engine shown in the illustration, Diesel engine similar.
- Install the left crossmember brace (1) with four bolts (2) and tightened to 55 N.m (41 ft. lbs.).
- Install the right crossmember brace (4) with two bolts (3) and tightened to 55 N.m (41 ft. lbs.).
- Install the skid plate, if equipped. Refer to PLATE, SKID, TRANSFER CASE, INSTALLATION .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
