Seal(S), Camshaft: Removal

  1. Remove the engine cover (1).

  2. Remove the CAC hose (2) from the resonator (3) and position aside.

  3. Remove the crankcase pressure sensor. Refer to SENSOR, CRANKCASE PRESSURE, REMOVAL .
  4. Disconnect the CCV hose (4) from oil breather/camshaft seal housing.

  5. Remove the bolts (1) and the oil breather/camshaft seal housing (2).
  6. Remove and discard gasket (3).

  7. Using a suitable tool, remove the camshaft oil seal (2).
