Valve, Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION (EGR): Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the EGR cooler. Refer to COOLER, EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR), REMOVAL .

  3. Remove the bolts (1) and the EGR valve (2).
  4. Remove and discard both the gasket.
