Seat, Front: Removal
- Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions. Refer to SEATS, WARNING .
- Adjust the front seat to its most forward position for easiest access to the front seat belt lower anchor cover (2) and the B-pillar trim.
- Grasp the upper edge of the lower anchor cover and pull it carefully upward and outward to unsnap it from the front seat cushion outboard side shield (4).
- Remove the screw (1) that secures the seat belt lower anchor (3) to the outboard side of the front seat cushion frame.
- Move the seat back to gain access to the bolts (2).
- Remove trim covers (1) and remove the two front bolts (2).
- Open the trim covers (2) and remove the two rear bolts (1).
- Disconnect and isolate battery negative cable.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors, if equipped, and remove the seat from the vehicle.
