CROSSMEMBER, Transmission: Removal

  1. Remove the skid plate. Refer to PLATE, SKID, TRANSFER CASE, REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the reinforcement brackets.
  3. Support the transmission with a suitable lifting device.
  4. Remove the transmission mount bolts (3).
  5. Remove the six crossmember bolts (2) and remove the crossmember (1).
