Diagnostic Test

VERIFY DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) IS ACTIVE

NOTE:

Make sure the battery voltage is between 10 and 16 volts before proceeding.

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.
Does the scan tool display: C10CC-00-ESC SENSOR INTERNAL ELECTRONIC FAILURE?

Yes

NOTE:
For the C10CC-00-ESC Sensor Internal Electronic Failure, use the C006A-54-Multi-Axis Acceleration Sensor-Missing Calibration.
- Perform the C006A-54-Multi-AXIS ACCELERATION SENSOR-MISSING CALIBRATION procedure Refer to DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX, ABS .
No
- Perform the RESTRAINTS SYSTEM INTERMITTENT TEST Refer to RESTRAINTS SYSTEM INTERMITTENT TEST .
