Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, create a Vehicle Scan Report and attach it to the repair order.
- With the scan tool, read the Transmission Control Module (TCM) DTCs.
Is the DTC active or stored?
Yes
- No repair action is required. This fault is only used to initiate a calibration strategy and for diagnostic information in case other faults are set.
No
- Review the Vehicle Scan Report and Repair any other DTCs that have set with the appropriate procedure in Service Information.
