Theory Of Operation

The Heated Steering Wheel (HSW) Temperature Sensor is wired to the Left EVIC Switch. The sensor data is transmitted from the Left EVIC Switch over a LIN Bus through the Steering Column Control Module (SCCM) clockspring to the Body Control Module (BCM). The data is then transmitted by the BCM over the CAN C Bus to the Comfort Seat Wheel Module (CSWM) and other modules.
