Vented Seats

The vented seats are controlled by the Comfort Seat and Wheel Module (CSWM) also know as the Heated Seat Module (HSM). The module provides a pulse width modulated voltages driving the brushless fan seat motors. When the vented seat switch is selected, a CAN-IHS message is delivered to the CSWM to operate the vented seat system. The vented seats have two selectable speeds with a hidden intermediate speed. Each press of the vented seat indicator will cause the vented seat to change venting modes in order from OFF to HI, HI to LO, and LO to OFF. Stop/Start Integration - The vented seats will continue to function during a Stop/Start event unless the engine RPM is below 400. The system will suspend operation until 400 RPM has been achieved.
