Diagnostic Test

PROGRAM THE ODOMETER MILEAGE INTO THE PCM

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, program the odometer mileage into the PCM.
With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
Cycle the ignition off and on.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Is the DTC active or pending?

Yes
- Replace and program the Powertrain Control Module in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, POWERTRAIN CONTROL (PCM), REMOVAL, 3.2L .
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST, 3.2L .
No
- The SRI mileage has been successfully programmed into the PCM. Test is complete.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST, 3.2L .
