Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR FUEL SYSTEM OR IGNITION SYSTEM DTCS PRESENT
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on the repair order.
  Are there any fuel or ignition system DTCs present?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the diagnostics for the fuel or ignition system related DTC(s) before proceeding with this diagnostic procedure.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST, 3.2L .
  No
  - Go To 2
PERFORM THE ENGINE CRANKS BUT DOES NOT START DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE
1. Perform the ENGINE CRANKS BUT DOES NOT START diagnostic procedure. Refer to ENGINE CRANKS BUT DOES NOT START .
  Were any problems found?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the appropriate repair.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST, 3.2L .
  No
  - Perform the ENGINE WILL NOT CRANK diagnostic procedure. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST, 3.2L .
