Blade, Wiper: Removal: Rear

- Lift the rear wiper arm pivot cover (1) upward to allow the rear wiper blade to be raised off of the glass.NOTE:
The rear wiper arm cannot be raised to its over-center hinge position unless the pivot cover is raised first.
- Lift the rear wiper arm (2) to its over-center hinge position to raise the wiper blade and element off of the liftgate glass.
- To remove the wiper blade (3) from the wiper arm (1), grasp the end of the blade nearest to the motor output shaft, then over-rotate it out from under the arm and past its stop far enough to unsnap the blade pivot pin (2) from the receptacle (4) on the end of the arm.
- Gently lower the tip of the wiper arm onto the glass.
