Diagnostic Test

VERIFY THE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) IS ACTIVE

NOTE:

Make sure the fuse is installed and the battery is fully charged before proceeding.

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.
Is this DTC active?

Yes
- Refer to U0186-87-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH AUDIO AMPLIFIER - MISSING MESSAGE and perform the U0186-00 Lost Communication with Audio Amplifier diagnostic procedure.
No
- Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
