This diagnostic runs when the following conditions are met:

With the ignition on.
- During in-plant testing, the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APP) is checked to make sure the minimum and maximum values can be reached. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) performs the diagnostic test for this DTC after the diagnostic test for P2166 has passed.
