2.2L Diesel

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to the appropriate service article .

  3. Disconnect the EGR valve wire harness connector (1).

  4. Remove the bolts (1) and the EGR valve (2).
  5. Remove and discard both the gaskets.
