2.0L Diesel

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler manifold (1) and place it on a workbench (Refer to the appropriate service information article ).

  3. Remove the bolts (1 and 3) and the EGR valve (4) from the EGR cooler manifold (2).
  4. Remove the EGR valve gasket and discard.
