2.2L Diesel Low Pressure EGR Valve

- If removed, install the low pressure EGR valve mounting bracket (2) and tighten the bolts (2) to the proper torque. Refer to EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION, DIESEL, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the low pressure EGR valve (1a), into the hose to the turbocharger and tighten the bolts (1b) to the proper torque. Refer to EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION, DIESEL, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Tighten the lower pressure EGR valve bolt (1) to the proper torque. Refer to EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION, DIESEL, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Tighten the bottom clamp to the proper torque. Refer to EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION, DIESEL, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the EGR temperature sensor wire harness connector (2).
- Connect the low pressure EGR valve wire harness connector (1).
- Install air cleaner outlet tube (4) and securely tighten the clamps (2, 5).
- Install the engine cover. Refer to the appropriate service article .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
