Solenoid, Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION (EGR), 2.0L Diesel: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the engine cover (1).
- Disconnect the wire harness connector (3) and the two vacuum hoses (2) from the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) vacuum valve solenoid (4), located on the right side of the engine fan shroud.
- Remove the two retaining nuts (1) and the EGR vacuum valve solenoid.
