2.0L Diesel

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to the appropriate service article .

  3. Remove the clamp (2) and the crankcase breather hose.
  4. Disconnect the crankcase vent heater wire harness connector (4).
  5. Remove the clamps (3) and carefully pull up on crankcase vent heater from turbocharger air inlet hose (4) and breather hose.
