Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
1. Cycle the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, record and erase RF-Hub DTCs.
3. Apply the service brakes and shift the transmission from park to all other gears several times.
4. Cycle the ignition off.
5. Apply the service brakes and try to shift the transmission from park to other gears.
6. Cycle the ignition on and wait 30 seconds.
7. With the scan tool, read the active RF-Hub DTCs.
  Does the scan tool display: P0928-12-BTSI CONTROL - CIRCUIT SHORT TO BATTERY?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform the THEFT AND SECURITY SYSTEM INTERMITTENT TEST. Refer to THEFT AND SECURITY SYSTEM INTERMITTENT TEST .
CHECK THE (K321) BTSI CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO VOLTAGE
1. Cycle the ignition off.
2. Disconnect the Shifter Lever Assembly harness connector.
3. Cycle the ignition on.
4. Measure the voltage between ground and the (K321) BTSI Control circuit in the RF-Hub C1 harness connector.
  Is there any voltage present?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the (K321) BTSI Control circuit for a short to voltage.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Replace the Radio Frequency Hub in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, RADIO FREQUENCY (RF HUB), REMOVAL .
  - Perform the RADIO FREQUENCY HUB (RF-HUB) VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to RADIO FREQUENCY HUB (RF HUB) VERIFICATION TEST .
