Interrogation of the FOBIK is completed in two ways, the IGnition Node Module or Keyless Ignition Node. The IGNM, uses low frequency communication between the FOBIK and RFHM through the LIN to the IGNM coil. The KIN, on the passive entry keyless go system uses low frequency communication between the LF antennas, FOBIK and Radio Frequency Hub Module. It will also use radio frequency communication between the FOBIK and RFHM.
