Belt, Serpentine: Installation: 3.2L

CAUTION:
Do not let the tensioner arm snapback to the fully extended position, severe damage may occur to the tensioner.
- Install the serpentine belt (4) around the pulleys.
- Rotate the belt tensioner (1) counterclockwise and install the serpentine belt on the idler pulley (3).
- Verify the belt is properly positioned around all of the pulleys.
- Install the lower radiator hose (2).
- Install the heater hose (1) to the water pump.
- Install the right wheelhouse splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, REAR WHEELHOUSE, INSTALLATION .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- Fill the cooling system by air evacuation. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
