Pedal, Accelerator: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

  2. Disconnect the accelerator pedal wire harness connector.
  3. Remove the nuts (1) that secure the accelerator pedal assembly (2).
  4. Remove the accelerator pedal assembly from the vehicle (2).
