2.2L Diesel

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to the appropriate service information article. .

  3. Disconnect the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor wire harness connector (1) and detach wire harness (3) from air tube (4).
  4. Loosen the clamps (2, 5) and disconnect the air tube (4).

  5. Remove the screws (2) and the MAF sensor (1) from air cleaner body.
