Insulator, Engine Mount, Left: Installation

  1. If removed, install the left side upper transmission mount bracket (1). Tighten bolts (2, 3) to 105 N.m (77 ft. lbs.).

  2. Position the left transmission mount onto the vehicle.
  3. Hand start all the bolts.
  4. Tighten the mount to frame rail bolts (2) to 105 N.m (77 ft. lbs.).
  5. Tighten the mount to shock tower bolt (4) to 64 N.m (47 ft. lbs.).
  6. Tighten the mount to transmission mount bracket bolts (1) to 90 N.m (66 ft. lbs.).

  7. Install the PDC (1). Refer to CENTER, POWER DISTRIBUTION (PDC), INSTALLATION .
  8. Remove the floor jack.
  9. Raise the vehicle.

  10. Install the belly pan (1).
  11. Lower the vehicle.
  12. Install the battery.
  13. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
