Actuator, Axle Shaft: Removal

- Using diagnostic scan tool, place Rear Axle Differential in the 4-HI position.
- Remove the Rear Axle Differential assembly from the vehicle. Refer to REMOVAL .
- Clean area around the actuator to prevent debris from entering housing.
- Remove the actuator retaining fasteners and discard (1).
- Remove the actuator assembly (1) up and off the housing (2).
