Shock Absorber, Suspension: Installation

- Use a jack stand or equivalent to raise the suspension into position.
- Install the shock upper mount to the body and install the upper mounting bolts (1) and tighten to the proper torque. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Position the lower end of the shock (1) to the knuckle assembly.
- Install the shock to knuckle bolt (4) and tighten to the proper torque. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the wheel house splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, REAR WHEELHOUSE, INSTALLATION .
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
