Sensor, Wheel Speed, Front: Removal

Before proceeding. Refer to CAUTION . Refer to WARNING .

  1. Raise and support the vehicle

    Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

  2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor harness (2) connector from the wiring harness connector (1) on the inner fender.
  3. Separate sensor harness clips from retainers (3, 4).
  4. Separate the wheel speed sensor harness from the strut bracket.

  5. Remove the mounting screw (2) fastening the wheel speed sensor head (1) to the knuckle. Pull the sensor head out of the knuckle and remove the wheel speed cable from the vehicle.
