Instrument Panel

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the radio in order to gain access to the instrument panel air outlet temperature sensors. Refer to RADIO, REMOVAL .

  3. Disconnect the wire harness (1) from the air outlet temperature sensor (2).

  4. Using a Trim Stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, disengage the air outlet temperature sensor (1) from the instrument panel duct (2) and remove the sensor.
