Sensor, Evaporator Temperature: Description

The evaporator temperature sensor (3) measures the temperature of the conditioned air downstream of the A/C evaporator. The evaporator temperature sensor is an electrical thermistor mounted on a molded plastic bracket that is inserted into the A/C evaporator, near its coldest point (1). The evaporator temperature sensor is connected to the vehicle electrical system by use of a two wire lead and connector (2).
